How to customize event websites

To start, sign in to the user dashboard, if you have not registered, please click here

  • On the left side menu, go to ‘Events 
  • For each calendar event, there are share icons to social media and a button to copy the URL of the event webpage
  • Copy event URL by clicking on icon and paste in new window to view page

  • For each calendar event created, ZMSEND auto-generates an event webpage which can be customized with specific event information.
  • To edit the event details which will be automatically reflected on the event webpage in real-time, go to top right menu and click ‘Edit Event

  • Here is what the auto-generated default event webpage looks like


  • To customize the background cover image, you can add your own cover image in ‘Edit Event‘ section, remember to click ‘Save‘ on the bottom right corner

  • There are different security levels to choose from, which gives the host control over guest sign ups, and you can even mark an event as private, so it will not appear on the host profile page
    • Require Registration: Guest needs to register on event webpage. A confirmation email will be sent with event link.
    • Require Registration Approval: Guest needs to register on event webpage, and wait for approval. An email will be sent to either confirm participation or decline the guest.
    • No Security is selected: All guests will be invited and automatically accepted for the event. A confirmation email will be sent with event link.
  • Add more information to your event with Speaker Bios and FAQ sections, if you do not input these information, it will not appear on the event webpage. There is no restriction on the number of bios and faqs you can add to each section.
